Chief Justice William Rehnquist Signed First Day Cover Commemorating 200th Anniversary of Supreme Court
This nice first day cover commemorating 200th anniversary of the first session of the Supreme Court on February 2, 1790 is signed by Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist. The bicentennial stamp pictures Chief Justice John Marshall and the graphic on the left pictures the Old Supreme Court Chamber in the Capitol Building and has a close-up of the frieze behind the bench which shows an angel pointing to a tablet that says "The Constitution of the U.S.." This is a nice historic item in excellent condition signed by the most appropriate person, the head of the Supreme Court. Price: SOLD |
