Comments:   This 1942 poster pictures a family and their priest cowering against a brick wall as one of the Nazi henchmen is seen in shadow whipping a helpless person with hand raised. That's any appropriate background for this propaganda poster's message "This world cannot exist half slave and half free" and its plea, "Sacrifice for freedom." The poster was issued by the U. S. Graphics Division, Office of Facts and Figures.
